“We are very pleased to acknowledge all the expertise, hard work and support that NNE contributed towards the success of the 28th European Crystallographic Meeting (ECM28) held at the University of Warwick at the end of August 2013.
In 2009 NNE were responsible for identifying Warwick University as a highly suitable and affordable venue which allowed us to win the competition to host ECM28. As our PCO, they provided a seamless service in all aspects of the local organisation for ECM28, including handling registration, accommodation and catering and also for arranging the design and printing of the conference programme. While we made all the key decisions about ECM28, NNE provided a single, reliable point of contact for all local organisation aspects of the Meeting, including advice on legal, financial, accounting and other specialist services.
ECM28 turned out to be a significantly larger meeting than originally anticipated (885 participants from 50 different countries), plus several satellite meetings and many informal scientific and other events taking place. Despite this, NNE coped well with the additional workload and were able to deploy additional staff at crucial times.
In summary, NNE contributed in large part to ECM28 being a scientific, social and financial success and we would highly commend their services to anyone contemplating a similar event.”

Prof Elspeth Garman, Co-Chair ECM28
“It is my pleasure to write a testimony as a Northern Networking continuing client on the competence of Northern Networking as an administrator of the CINP over the last year. It has been my pleasure to work with your group and have found your company more than satisfactory. You took on the CINP contract at a most difficult time and within a few weeks had the organization up and running. You have handled membership, registration, eflyers, and promotion in a highly professional and competent manner. As you know we are an organization of 1,000 members all over the world and Northern Networking has been superb in its intercultural sensitivity. I would recommend Northern Networking without reservation.”

“I have now been working with Northern Networking for 8 Years, both organising international conferences and organising high level professional workshops. I have always found the company to be efficient and effective. I particularly appreciate their concern for the small details that makes the difference between a good and a great conference. They are approachable and go out of their way to ensure that any events organised are successful. As the provider of the training I can concentrate on that aspect knowing that the practical issues have been looked after effectively.”

“David Massey and other members of Northern Networking Events (NNE) team have been heavily involved in the planning for the XXIII SIDUO International Congress, to be held in Edinburgh September 2010. I am glad to have selected NNE for this congress. I am now assured and confident more than any time before of the success of the Congress. NNE brings a highly specialised event team with vast local and Scottish knowledge and yet demonstrate full understanding of modern prerequisites and cross country awareness that is essential for an international congress such as SIDUO. David Massey in particular has shown great experience in business and budgetary planning and sharp, yet amicable, negotiation skills”.

“As President of the British Crystallographic Association I have worked closely with Northern Networking Events Limited for the last three years and have always found them to be an extremely efficient, well organised and helpful organisation. For a number of years they have very successfully organised our annual conference, interacted fruitfully with our sponsors, undertaken the main administration for the Association including maintaining our membership list, distributing our magazine and running our conference website. The NNE team have always been helpful and friendly and have been a pleasure to work with over the last three years”
